| 1 | Lift vehicle with lifting platform. | ||

| 2 | Remove front axle suspension travel limiter (5) between dust boots (1) and spring retainers (3). | It must be ensured that all 4 installed front axle suspension travel limiters (5) at each damper are removed. Otherwise the suspension may be damaged. |

| 3 | Remove rear axle suspension travel limiter (4) between dust boots (1) and spring retainers (3). | It must be ensured that all 5 installed rear axle suspension travel limiters (4) at each damper are removed. Otherwise the suspension may be damaged. |

| 4 | Lower vehicle completely with vehicle lift. | ||

| 5 | Open tailgate. | ||
| 6 | Fold up trim (2). | ||
| 7 | Install retainer (9). | ||
| 8 | Fold down trim (2). | ||
| 9 | Close liftgate. | ||
| Read out the fault memory | |||
| 10 | Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "2" (circuit 15). | ||
| 11 | Connect diagnostic device and read out and delete fault memory. | ||
