Location 

The adaptive damping system control unit is located on the left in the trunk.

Tasks 

The adaptive damping system control unit does the following:

Reading in of signals 

The input factors are read in via the following connections:

Direct lines 

The Adaptive Damping System control unit reads in the signals from the following components via direct lines:

Chassis FlexRay 

The Adaptive Damping System control unit also reads in the following signals via chassis FlexRay:

Evaluation of input factors 

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

Actuation of components 

The Adaptive Damping System control unit actuates the following components via direct lines:

Sending signals 

The Adaptive Damping System control unit also sends the following signals via chassis FlexRay:
