Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. |

| 1 | Carefully open the cap on the coolant expansion reservoir and close it again | ||
| 2 | Remove lower right engine compartment paneling | AR61.20-P-1105LWE | |
| 3 | Detach right front fender liner in front area until coolant circulation pump (M13/5) is accessible | AR88.10-P-1300LWE | |
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connections (1, 2) | ||
| 5 | Seal the coolant hoses (3, 4) with clamps | Fig 2 | |
| 6 | Remove the coolant hose (3) at the coolant circulation pump (M13/5) and collect escaping coolant in a suitable container | AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ | |
| 7 | Disengage and pull back the clamp (5) at the coolant hose (4) | Fig 1 | |
| 8 | Pull off the coolant hose (4) from the coolant circulation pump (M13/5) and collect the escaping coolant in a suitable container | ||
| 9 | Unscrew the screw (7) and remove the coolant recirculation pump (M13/5) from the bracket (6) | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 11 | Top up coolant and bleed the cooling circuit | AR20.00-P-1142OLC |
