  Risk of fire  due to ignition of R1234yf refrigerant on hot components. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with escaped R1234yf refrigerant and when working on pressurized parts. Risk of explosion  due to formation of ignitable refrigerant/air mixtures Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated rooms. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been evacuated. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid R134a refrigerant and when working on pressurized parts Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Discharge air conditioning system.   AR83.30-P-1760LW 
2 Remove radiator crossmember. Model 205 AR62.30-P-2300LWC
    Model 253 (except 253.992/993) AR62.30-P-2300LWX
    Model 213 with engine 256, 264, 274, 276, 642, 654, 656 except code 1U6 (R744 refrigerant) AR62.30-P-2300LWA
    Model 213 with engine 177 except code 1U6 (R744 refrigerant) AR62.30-P-2300LW
3 Unscrew cap (3). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 205 Model 253 (except 253.992/993) Plug to condenser *BA83.30-P-1007-01Q 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 213 except code 1U6 (R744 refrigerant) Plug to condenser *BA83.30-P-1008-01R 
4 Remove circlip (4).    
5 Screw M12 screw (5) into drier head (6) and remove drier head (6).    
6 Remove drier module holder (8) at pin (7) using suitable pliers.    
7 Remove drier module riser line (9) together with drier module filter housing (10). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Apply new desiccant bag (11 on drier module riser line (9).  
INSPECT Check     
8 Check packaging of new desiccant bag (11) for damage. If packaging of new desiccant bag (11) is damaged,
↓ Use new desiccant bag (11) with undamaged packaging.
 
9 Install in the reverse order
