Remove/Install Starter - AR15.30-P-7100MRH

Engine 264 in model 213, 238, 257 except code B01 (48V technology)

	Remove/install
1	Disconnect ground line from battery.	Engine 264 in model 213 except code B01 (48V technology)	AR54.10-P-0003LW
		Engine 264 in model 238 except code B01 (48V technology)	AR54.10-P-0003LWO
		Engine 264 in model 257 except code B01 (48V technology)	AR54.10-P-0003FR
2	Remove center and rear engine compartment lining.	Engine 264 in model 213, 238 except code B01 (48V technology)	AR61.20-P-1105LWE
		Engine 264 in model 257 except code B01 (48V technology)	AR61.20-P-1105FR
3	Remove cap (1).
4	Unscrew the nuts (2, 3) and place the electric cables (4, 5) to one side.

		Nut, connection for terminal designation 30	*BA15.30-P-1002-01U
		Nut, connection for terminal designation 50	*BA15.30-P-1003-01U
5	Unscrew the screws (6) and remove the starter (M1).	The screws (6) are secured with nuts.
		Bolt, starter/cover for starter opening to crankcase	*BA15.30-P-1001-01U
6	Remove charge air cooler with connected coolant hoses and place to one side.	When replacing the starter (M1).

7	Turn engine at center bolt of the crankshaft and check starter ring gear on drive plate for damage	When replacing the starter (M1).
		Socket wrench bit If damage is present, ↓ Replace drive plate.	Fig 2

8	Install in the reverse order.
