REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove lower center and rear engine compartment lining. Engine 656 in model 213, 238 AR61.20-P-1105LWE
    Engine 654, 656 in model 257 AR61.20-P-1105FR
2 Support transmission (4).    
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 11 62 00 Major assembly mount   WS01.00-P-0092B
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 10 62 00 Support plate   WS26.00-P-3309B
3.1 Remove bolts (1a). Model 213, 238, 257 with engine 656 except code M005 (4MATIC) Model 257 with engine 654 except code M005 (4MATIC)  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 654 in model 257 except code M005 (4MATIC) Engine 656 in model 213, 257 except code M005 (4MATIC) Rear engine mount to engine support *BA22.10-P-1004-03N 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 656 in model 238 except code M005 (4MATIC) Rear engine mount to engine support *BA22.10-P-1004-03O 
3.2 Unscrew nuts (1c). Engine 654 in model 257 with code M005 (4MATIC)
Engine 656 in model 213, 238, 257 with code M005 (4MATIC)		  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 654 in model 257 with code M005 (4MATIC) Engine 656 in model 213, 257 with code M005 (4MATIC) Rear engine mount to engine support *BA22.10-P-1004-03N 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 656 in model 238 with code M005 (4MATIC) Rear engine mount to engine support *BA22.10-P-1004-03O 
4 Remove screws (2a) and remove engine carrier (2). NOTES Never use an impact wrench/driver or compressed air tools for unscrewing or screwing in the screw/bolts (2a). Otherwise, the threads will be damaged.  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 654 in model 257 Engine 656 in model 213, 257Bolt, rear engine support to body *BA22.10-P-1005-03N 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 656 in model 238 except code M005 (4MATIC) Engine 656 in model 238 with code M005 (4MATIC) Bolt, rear engine support to body *BA22.10-P-1005-03O 
5 Install in the reverse order.
