  Notes on bolted connections with self tapping screws   AH00.00-P-0007-01SF
  Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove engine with front axle carrier   AR01.10-P-2500MND
2 Fasten load tilter to engine with boom crane    
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 00 62 00 Load tilter   WS01.00-P-0102B
    IMPORTANTCommercially available devices/tools  Boom crane  
3 Remove screws/bolts (2) of heat shield (1), and remove heat shield (1) to side TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, heat shield to engine support *BA22.10-P-1003-02A 
4 Raise engine slightly using boom crane and load tilter    
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 00 62 00 Load tilter   WS01.00-P-0102B
    IMPORTANTCommercially available devices/tools  Boom crane  
5 Remove screw/bolt (4) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 276.8 in model 213 with code M005 (4MATIC) Bolt, front engine mount to engine support *BA22.10-P-1001-03N 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 276.8 in model 238
with code M005 (4MATIC) Bolt, front engine mount to engine support		 *BA22.10-P-1001-03O 
6 Remove screw/bolts (6) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 276.8 in model 213
with code M005 (4MATIC) Bolt, front engine mount to front axle carrier		 *BA22.10-P-1002-03N 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 276.8 in model 238
with code M005 (4MATIC) Bolt, front engine mount to front axle carrier		 *BA22.10-P-1002-03O 
7 Raise engine, and remove engine mount (5) from front axle carrier INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Replace engine mounts in pairs only.  
8 Install in the reverse order
