Remove covers (1).
Remove seal (2) in area of seals (3).
Remove expansion reservoir low-temperature circuit from crossmember .

Remove bolts (4) Engine 256.9 in model 213, 238, 257, 290 .
Install ring nuts (5) with thread adapter from adapter set and tighten.

Attach engine hoist (11) to engine hoist (7).
Insert adapter (15) in engine hoist adaptation (9) and install engine hoist adaptation (9) on engine hoist (7).
Observe the manufacturer's assembly specifications and safety information.
Install engine hoist adaptations (8) on engine hoist (7).
Install mounts (10) on engine hoist adaptations (8, 9).
Install adapters (12) on left and right on adaptation plates (13).

Install adaptation plates (13) on left and right on engine hoist (7).
Attach assembled engine hoist (7) to suspension strut towers and longitudinal members.
Aid of helper required.

Observe the manufacturer's assembly specifications and safety information.
Adjust engine hoist (7), align horizontally and tighten threaded connections.
Secure engine hoist (7) using tensioning straps (14).
Install shackles on mounts (10) and engine lifting lugs (6).
Slightly tighten tensioning screws of mounts (10).
Do not subject engine mounts to tension.

Engine mount will otherwise be damaged
Remove in the reverse order.
