	Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts	Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels.	AS00.00-Z-0017-01A
	Risk of burn injuries,  suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out ol the hazard area.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Raise vehicle.		AR00.60-P-1006A
2	Remove trim from spare wheel well.	Engine 656 in model 213.2, 238.4
3	Remove left underfloor paneling.	Engine 656 in model 213.2, 238.4

4	Release longitudinal member panel in area of left rear diagonal strut.	Engine 656 in model 238.4	AR88.80-P-6000LWO
		Engine 656 in model 213.2	AR88.80-P-6000LWE
5	Remove left rear diagonal strut.	Engine 656 in model 213.2, 238.4
		Bolt, rear diagonal strut to spare wheel well/body	*BA61.10-P-1008-01L
6	Remove rear muffler (1) from exhaust system.	Commercially available devices/tools  x Chain pipe cutter : Install a new clamp.
		Clamp, connecting point for front of exhaust system to rear of exhaust system	*BA49.10-P-1013-02O
7	Secure rear muffler (1) against falling down.

8	Disconnect rear muffler (1) from elastomer bearings and remove.	: Wet elastomer bearings with lubricant.
		Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
	Clean
9	Remove combustion and corrosion residue at connecting points.
	Check
10	Check elastomer bearings for wear and damage.	If there are problems, ↓ replace elastomer bearing.
11	Install in the reverse order.
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
12	Perform engine test run and check exhaust system in terms of leak tightness.
