Prepare Body Flange For Rear Fixed Element Of Panoramic Sliding Sunroof For Installation - AR77.21-P-0802-03LWE

1. Cut back adhesive beads (1) on body flange (3) down to a remaining height of approx. 1 to 2 mm using scraper.
2. Completely cut back residues of spacers (2) and adhesive bead (1) present in this area.
3. Remove cutting residues from body flange (3) with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
4. Repair paint damage on body flange (3).

   Use only primer filler approved by Daimler AG.

5. Apply primer in gluing area if glue residues are not present.

   Apply primer only after primer has dried.

   Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

   The primer is included in the repair kit.

6. After the primer has dried, glue new spacers (2) to body flange (3).
