Partially Prepare Side Wall Reinforcement For Installation - Ar63.20-P-0861-03FR

Model 257, 290 

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle on model 257. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Mark separating point on side wall and cut (area A).

   Transfer separation point from vehicle.

2. Remove side wall reinforcement (4).

3. Grind mating surfaces on side wall reinforcement (4) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
4. Remove grinding dust.
