Prepare Rear Shock-Absorber Strut Tower - Ar64.20-P-1160-02FR

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In the event of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be carried out in the same way on the right side of the vehicle.

The main service document and the safety notes in the service document must be observed.

1. Grind mating surfaces on suspension strut tower (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
2. Remove grinding dust.
3. Grind mating surfaces on suspension strut tower (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
4. Remove grinding dust.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

5. Grind mating surfaces on rear-end crossmember (3) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
6. Remove grinding dust.
