	Remove
1	Remove display module.

2	Remove head unit (A26/17) for Audio 20 NTG 5.5 radio.

	Install
3	Retrofit electrical wiring harness for instrument cluster.	Fix electrical wiring harness for instrument cluster in place only after routing all retrofit wiring harnesses.	AN82.85-P-0009-06FR
4	Fix routed retrofit wiring harnesses in place using cable ties.
5	Install new head unit (A26/17).

6	Install remaining parts.
	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
7	Delete special equipment from on-line vehicle data card.	Code 506 (Audio 20 USB).
8	Delete special equipment from on-line vehicle data card.	Model 257 with code 355 (Pre-installation for navigation retrofit), model 257 with code 357 (Map navigation) Code 355 (Pre-installation for navigation retrofit).  Code 357 (Map navigation).
9	Enter special equipment into online vehicle data card.	Code 531 (COMAND APS).  Code 08U (Vehicle setup).  Code 12U (Concierge service).  Code 14U (Smartphone Integration Package).  Code 16U (Smartphone Integration Carplay).  Code 17U (Smartphone Integration Google Automotive Link).
10	Attach "COMAND APS retrofitted, as per AN82.85-P-0009FRA" note under field organization texts to design group 82.
11	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle using vehicle identification number (VIN).

12	Carry out variant coding using software calibration number (SCN).	Rear SAM.  Instrument cluster.  Head unit.  HERMES control unit.  Electronic ignition lock control unit  Control unit for climate control.  Model 257 with code 640 (SAE dynamic LED headlamp, right-hand traffic), model 257 with code 641 (Dynamic left-hand traffic LED headlamp), model 257 with code 642 (Dynamic LED headlamp, right-hand traffic) Headlamp control unit. 13	Disconnect diagnostic system.
