Remove/Install Trunk Lid Cover - AR68.30-P-8151MFV

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Remove warning triangle from warning triangle bracket (4).    
3 Remove warning triangle bracket (4). SPECIAL TOOL Dismantling tool Fig 1
4 Unclip retaining clips (6). SPECIAL TOOL Dismantling tool Fig 1
5 Unclip handle strip (3); release and disconnect electrical connectors. NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This causes damage to the electric lines.
IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.

6 Remove handle strips (3).    
7 Unclip retaining clips (5). SPECIAL TOOL Dismantling tool Fig 1
8 Remove hinge covers (1).    
9 Release trim (2) of the trunk lid until the electrical connector of the inside trunk actuation is accessible. Model 118.3, 177.1/9 with code 460 (Canada version)

10 Release and disconnect electrical connector of the inside trunk actuation. Model 118.3, 177.1/9 with code 460 (Canada version)
with code 494 (US version)
 
11 Remove trim (2) of the trunk lid.    
12 Remove inside trunk actuation. Model 118.3, 177.1/9
with code 460 (Canada version)
with code 494 (US version)
When replacing cover (2).
 
13 Install in the reverse order.
