| 1 | Remove C-pillar trim. | AR68.30-P-4490MFV | |
| 2 | Fold forward seat backrests in rear. | ||
| 3 | Remove retaining clips (2). | Fig 1 | |
| 4 | Slightly press down rear shelf (1) in rear area and remove forwards from engagements (3). | ||
| 5 | Extend rear shelf (1) out of the left and right side trim in the rear passenger compartment. | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector of the speakers. | Model 118.3, 177.1 with code 287 (Through-loading feature) with code 810 (Premium sound system) with code 853 ("Midline" sound system) |

| 7 | Remove rear shelf (1). | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. |
