	Remove/install
1	Remove seat backrest (1).		AR91.12-P-1713MFV
2	Remove head restraint guides (3).		AR91.16-P-1776MFA
3	Remove lining (5) of seat backrest (1).
4	Remove armrest.	Model 118.3, 177.1/9 with code 400 (Rear armrest) except code 287 (Through-loading feature)	AR91.12-P-1744MFA
5	Unhook cover (2) all the way round from seat backrest frame (4).	: Hook cover (2) at corners first and press down when completely hooked in. Dismantling tool	Fig 1
6	Remove cover (2) with padding from seat backrest frame (4).
7	Detach cover (2) from padding far enough until the cushion clips (10) are accessible.
8	Cut upholstery staples (10) and remove remaining pieces from padding.	Remove the pieces of the upholstery staples (10) carefully. Otherwise the padding and cover (2) will be damaged. : Replace upholstery staples (10). Padding clip pliers	Fig 2
9	Remove cover (2) from padding.	: Ensure that the cover is correctly aligned.
10	Install in the reverse order.
