| 6 | Remove bolt (3). | ||
| 7 | Unclip cover (4). | Fig 2 | |
| 8 | Unclip center instrument panel speaker (H4/27) and place to one side with lines attached. | Model 118, 177 with code 810 (Premium sound system) Model 118, 177 with code 853 ("Midline" sound system) Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension. | 17 | Lift instrument panel support (12) slightly and remove front passenger airbag (14). | Only lift instrument panel support (12) until the front passenger airbag (14) is accessible. Otherwise, the instrument panel support (12) will become damaged. |

| 19 | Connect vehicle diagnosis system, read out fault memory and clear if necessary. | ||
