	Remove/install
1	Confirm change of on-board electrical system battery (G1) using diagnosis system in signal acquisition and actuation module under Actuation menu item.	When replacing the on-board electrical system battery (G1).

		This updates the charging characteristic for the on-board electrical system battery (G1).
2	Remove voltage dip limiter (R62).	Model 118, 177, 247 except code B01 (48V technology) except code ME08 (Hybrid drive 75-84 kW VARIANT (INCLUDING PLUGIN)) except code ME10 (Hybrid vehicle (plug-in, PHEV))

3	Remove nut (9) of starter battery pre-fuse box (F150/1) and place starter battery pre-fuse box (F150/1) to one side with electric lines connected.	Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension. This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.
4	Remove cover (10).	Ensure that guides are seated correctly.
5	Remove nut (11) and release tensioning strap (12).	Nut, mounting rail to battery frame	*BA54.10-P-1003-01D
6	Place tensioning strap (12) to one side and remove on-board electrical system battery (G1) upward.
7	Install in the reverse order.
