| 1 | Commission electronic ignition lock control unit (N73). | When replacing the electronic ignition lock control unit (N73). | |

| 2 | Disconnect the ground line for the on-board electrical system battery (G1). | AR54.10-P-0003MFA | |
| 3 | Remove glove box. | AR68.10-P-1400MFA | |
| 4 | Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect. | ||
| 5 | Slide electrical subharness (5) as far as possible out of the working area. | Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |

| 6 | Push retaining lug (2) and pull electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) far enough out of holder (3) to gain access to the electrical connector (4). | Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |

| 7 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (4) then remove electronic ignition lock control unit (N73). | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. |
