Remove/Install Electronic Ignition Lock Control Unit - AR54.21-P-0038MFA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Commission electronic ignition lock control unit (N73). When replacing the electronic ignition lock control unit (N73).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06MFA
2 Disconnect the ground line for the on-board electrical system battery (G1).   AR54.10-P-0003MFA 
3 Remove glove box.   AR68.10-P-1400MFA
4 Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect.    
5 Slide electrical subharness (5) as far as possible out of the working area. NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.
 
6 Push retaining lug (2) and pull electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) far enough out of holder (3) to gain access to the electrical connector (4). NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.
 
7 Release and disconnect electrical connector (4) then remove electronic ignition lock control unit (N73).    
8 Install in the reverse order.
