The following work instructions describe the online SCN coding procedure using XENTRY flash.

The requirements for online SCN coding are:

• A networked vehicle diagnosis system
• A user ID and password for XENTRY flash (user on Aftersales Platform)

Entrance into coding in XENTRY Diagnostics 

1. Select control unit.
2. Select coding in XENTRY Diagnostics.

   Control unit adaptations or commissioning → SCN coding → Online (networked Star Diagnosis device)

3. Enter user ID and password into login screen and continue with "Login".

   After logging in, the SCN coding data are automatically queried in the background and the control unit is then coded.

4. Print out order log and include with repair order.

   The order log can be saved in the diagnostic system through "Print menu" → "Print to file". The StarPad program enables the order logs to be viewed and printed out using "Star Utilities" → "Logs".
