| 3 | Remove nuts (7) and loosen heat shield (1). | ||
| 4 | Remove nuts (9) and remove heat shield (2). | ||

| 6 | Remove battery sensor (B95) ground line nut at body and place to one side. | ||

| 8 | Remove screws (10). | ||
| 9 | Remove nuts (11). | ||
| 10 | Remove heat shield (3). | ||
| 11 | Remove cap of brake fluid reservoir and seal with protective cover. | ||

| 12 | Unclip vacuum line (12). | ||
| 13 | Expose electric lines from support (14). | ||
| 14 | Unscrew screws (13) and remove bracing (14). | *BA54.10-P-1009-01D | |
| 15 | Unclip electrical wiring harness from heat shield (4). | Pay attention to the routing and padding of the wiring harness and electrical connector. To prevent noise development during vehicle operation. Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This would lead to damage to the lines and can impair their function. |

| 16 | Remove nuts (15). | ||
| 17 | Remove heat shield (4). | Carefully pull rubber section at heat shield (4) over brake fluid reservoir. Rubber section at heat shield (4) will otherwise be damaged. |

| 18 | Expose nuts (16). | ||
| 19 | Remove nuts (16) and remove heat shield (5). | ||
| 20 | Install in the reverse order. |
