Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

1. Crank engine at crankshaft until drain screw (4) on torque converter (5) can be accessed through opening on transmission (3).

   Model 907 with engine 642 with transmission 722.9

   Use socket wrench socket 001 589 65 09 00 to crank the engine.

   Model 907 with engine 651 with transmission 722.9 with code H08 (Roof-mounted air conditioning system reinforced)

   Use counterholder 651 589 00 40 00 to crank the engine.

   Model 907 with engine 651 with transmission 722.9 except code H08 (Roof-mounted air conditioning system, reinforced)

   Use counterholder 651 589 08 40 00 to crank the engine.

2. Remove drain screw (4) and drain transmission oil from torque converter (5).

   Commercially available devices/tools

   Collection bowl

3. Tighten drain screw (4)

   Replace seal.

4. Remove drain screw (2) and drain transmission oil from oil pan (1).

5. Release overflow pipe (7) with drift (6) in oil pan (1) and drain transmission oil from oil pan (1).

   After releasing the overflow pipe (7), the oil pan (1) must always be removed and the overflow pipe (7) mounted back onto the oil pan (1) again. Otherwise the transmission may be damaged.

   Transmission oil escapes immediately after releasing the overflow pipe (7).

6. Check transmission oil.

   If transmission oil is burnt or if it contains wear debris,

   rinse the torque converter (5), oil lines and oil cooler of the automatic transmission.
