Disconnect/Connect Transmission Oil Line - Ar27.10-D-0501-03TSF

CAUTION Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Detach oil line (1) 

  1. Clean separating point and surrounding area thoroughly.

    NOTES Ensure scrupulous cleanliness.

    Even the smallest dirt particles in the hydraulic components can lead to malfunctions and total failure of the automatic transmission.

  2. Release dust cap (3) and push back along oil line (1) until connector (2) is accessible.
  3. Position using a suitable tool on one end of safety clip (2a) and detach safety clip (2a) from connector (2).
  4. Remove oil line (1) from connector (2) and seal connections with suitable SPECIAL TOOL stop plugs.

    IMPORTANT Collect escaping transmission oil.

  5. Pull off dust cap (3) from oil line (1).

    Attach oil line (1)

    IMPORTANT The safety clip (2a) must be replaced each time an oil line (1) is detached.

    NOTES The safety clip (2a) must not be pushed straight over the connector (2).

    Otherwise, the safety clip (2a) is overstretched and correct sealing of the line connection is no longer guaranteed.

  6. Insert one end of new safety clip (2a) into a cutout (2b) of connector (2).
  7. Push securing clamp (2a) in direction of arrow until it fully engages in connector (2).

  8. Push dust cap (3) onto oil line (1).
  9. RemoveSPECIAL TOOL stop plugs.
  10. Introduce oil line (1) straight into the connector (2) until it audibly and noticeable latches.
  11. Push dust cap (3) onto the connector (2) until it latches and can turn freely.

NOTES If the oil line (1) is not fully engaged in the connector (2) or the safety clip (2a) is overstretched, it will not be possible to push the dust cap (3) over the connection. This will result in leaks or soiling.

If oil line (1) is not correctly engaged or safety clip (2a) is overstretched,

Replace safety clip (2a) and engage oil line (1) correctly.
