1. Connect vehicle diagnosis system and start test routine.

   Select Oil level measurement with ultrasound unit menu item in XENTRY.

   Do not release the parking brake nor generate any other disturbance variables that are not required in the work procedure at any point during the whole test. All of these factors lead to the measurement being aborted and a restart being required.

2. Coat sensor surfaces of sensor (2) with couplant.
3. Attach sensor (2) of oil level sensor to oil pan (3).
4. Read out transmission oil level on oil level sensor after venting routine is complete.

   Correct 

5. Remove quick-release fastener (1) with socket wrench.
6. 1. If transmission oil level is too low.

      Insert socket wrench into oil pan (3), turn to position

      1 (Pos. 1) and detach.

   2. If transmission oil level is too high.

      Insert socket wrench into oil pan (3) and turn

      socket wrench to position 2 (Pos. 2).

      Drain transmission oil until specified value is displayed on oil level sensor.

7. Attach oil dispenser with adapter to oil pan (3) and add transmission oil.

   If transmission oil level is too low.

   The oil dispenser filling pressure must not exceed 2 bar.

   Otherwise damage and leaks can occur at the transmission.

   Pour in 50 ml of transmission oil for each mm deviation from specified oil level.

   Pour in additional 250 ml of transmission oil.

8. Remove oil dispenser with adapter from oil pan (3).

   If transmission oil level is too low.

   If the transmission oil level is too high,

   ↓

   Continue with operation step 6.2.

9. Turn socket wrench to position 1 (Pos. 1) and remove from oil pan (3).
10. Screw quick-release fastener (1) into oil pan (3).

    Replace quick-release fastener (1).

11. Disconnect diagnostic device from vehicle.
