Disconnect/Connect Coolant Hose On Coolant Thermostat Housing - Ar20.20-S-3865-15S

Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Engine 274, 642, 651 

1. To unlock, pull the catch spring (1) upwards.

   Do not bend or deform the catch springs (1). Correct locking upon connecting the coolant hose (2) will no longer be ensured otherwise.

   : Lock the catch spring (1) correctly.

   Shown on engine 642 

2. Remove coolant hose (2).

   : Engine 642, 651

   Check sealing lip of coolant hose (2) and replace as per findings.

3. Connect in reverse order.
