If a body manufacturer commissions a Mercedes-Benz Service Partner to document an installation, removal, modification or attachment operation, this must be entered in the AO texts in the Vehicle Documentation System (VeDoc).

The documentation must be compiled in accordance with the VeDoc guidelines.

The entry in VeDoc on no account represents a certificate of non-objection. Neither the Mercedes-Benz Service Partners nor Daimler AG are liable for faulty or incorrectly performed body measures.

As neither the Mercedes-Benz Service Partners nor Daimler AG can technically check the measures carried out by the body manufacturer, including the associated documentation, we have developed a form for exclusion of liability.

With documentation of the installation, removal, modification of attachment Daimler AG does not accept any liability whatsoever for warranty services. Please advise the body manufacturer expressly of these circumstances.

If you are delegated to document the installation, removal, modification or attachment operation in VeDoc, use also the "Exclusion of liability for installation, removal, modification or attachment documentation" form, OF00.00-D-3000-10DJ

The completely filled out and signed form must be kept in a tamperproof manner in the company.

Please advise the body manufacturer that this signed form is to be kept together with the other vehicle documents. If the vehicle is resold, the vehicle documents and the signed form must be handed over to the purchaser.
