- Expose spot welds on rear panel (1) (areas A, A B, C and C1
).

Rotary wire brush
- Cut off spot welds on rear panel (1) (areas A, A1, B, C and C1
).
Cut off spot welds through 2 panel thicknesses (areas A1 and C1 ).

Spot weld milling machine
- Expose spot welds on rear panel (1) (areas D, E, F, G, H, I and J).

Rotary wire brush
- Cut off spot welds on rear panel (1) (areas D, E, F, G, H, I and J).

- Expose spot welds on rear panel (1) (areas K, L, M, N and O).

- Cut off spot welds on rear panel (1) (areas K, L, M, N and O).

- Remove damaged rear panel (1).
- Grind down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

- Remove shavings and milling chips.

Wet and dry vacuum cleaner
- Zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges.
- Grind mating surfaces in cross-hatched area and around holes down to bare metal.
Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

- Remove shavings.
