- Punch holes on the upper front longitudinal member (1) with diameter 6 mm (areas G and H).
- Model 907
Punch holes on the upper front longitudinal member (1) with diameter 6 mm (area I) (picture A).
- Model 907
Grind area around holes down to bare metal (area I) (picture A).
- Grind mating surfaces in cross-hatched areas and around holes down to bare metal (areas G and H).

Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.
- Remove shavings.
- Zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges.
