| 3 | Disconnect electrical connection (1) | Spray electrical connector (1) and RPM sensor (4) with sealing wax. This prevents any ingress of moisture and corrosion formation in the electrical connector (1) and the steering knuckle. Cover brake disk and brakepads. Otherwise, sealing wax may enter the brake disk and brakepads. Sealing wax |

| 4 | Remove screw/bolt (2) | *BA42.30-N-1001-01TS | |
| 5 | Remove RPM sensor (4) | Insert RPM sensor (4) until it lies in the mounting hole. Do not tilt RPM sensor (4). The mounting flange of the RPM sensor (4) must lie fully on and flush with the steering knuckle. Otherwise, the RPM sensor (4) may be damaged when tightening the bolt (2). |

| 6 | Remove sealing ring (3) from RPM sensor (4) | Apply high-temperature antifriction bearing grease to new sealing ring (3). This prevents any ingress of moisture and corrosion formation in the steering knuckle and at the RPM sensor (4). MB high-temperature antifriction bearing grease, 150 g |
