Due to recent events we would like to notify you of the following with regard to the above-mentioned vehicles:

In the event of customer complaints about "soft brake pedal/long brake pedal travel", both brake calipers, including the actuator motors of the electric parking brake on the rear axle, must be replaced.

Note the following:

At the start of workshop activities, perform a quick test using XENTRY Diagnosis. After completion of the quick test, the diagnostic unit must remain connected if an on-line connection has been made, and remain in the quick test view for one minute, without any further operations being conducted. Specific parameters, learned values and load collectives of the vehicle are transmitted to the central office.

After replacing the brake calipers and actuator motors on the rear axle, bleed the brake system using XENTRY Diagnosis:

Perform bleeding routine in exceptional case

Please create a TIPS case (incl. pictures) for information. Do not dispose of removed brake calipers and actuator motors until further notice.

In the event of any replacement parts purchase difficulties or delays, the vehicle is no longer to be handed over to the customer.
