MODEL ALL
WIS Service Media is the multimedia on-line knowledge archive for workshop information.
- Videos and animations provide assistance for diagnosis, repair, maintenance and service.
All videos include subtitles in the relevant language.
- Introduction into Service manuals and system/function descriptions are available in electronic form on WIS Service Media in addition to the dispatch brochures.
WIS Service Media has replaced SDmedia as from WIS/ASRA Release 3.8 (03/2014) and is now available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese. Introduction into Service Manuals and system/function descriptions are also available in Portuguese and Russian.
WIS Service Media is available to all users with a WIS/ASRA server installation and an Internet connection. For local WIS/ASRA installations (WIS standalones) the requirements for access to WIS Service Media are not given. For access to the WIS Service Media through Star Diagnosis and XENTRY Kit, on-line access is also required through a WIS/ASRA server installation, and the diagnosis software update 03-04/2014.
Important information on SDmedia on Star Diagnose systems
- For the transitional period up to 04/2014 the SDmedia Release 01-02/2014 is installed in parallel to the WIS Service Media on the Star Diagnosis installations.
- Full SDmedia coverage for Star Diagnosis installations will not be available for this period. The SDmedia-DVD shipments were discontinued with Update 03-04/2014.
- Up to the end of 04/2013 the current SDmedia installations will only publish information using add-ons in exceptional circumstances.
- With Star Diagnosis software release 05/2014, SDmedia will be automatically deleted from all Star Diagnosis installations.
