For cases critical to documentation, such as the subsequent change to the maximum speed limitation, a ticket must be created in the event category "Software retrofit" in the "Xentry Support & Feedback" (XSF) system , which you will find in your application list of the After-Sales Portal.

IMPORTANT: The country-specific regulations and legislation must be checked and observed. The XSF ticket must have the appropriate objective evidence documentation attached to it. Any queries pertaining to this should be addressed to the national organization. After shipment of the XSF ticket, the corresponding part number must be ordered at the same time through the parts ordering process, quoting the vehicle identification number (VIN) and the XSF ticket number. The XSF ticket number is to be entered in the ordering system in the "Additional entry" field.

To avoid a second workshop visit, the signed customer declaration must be submitted via XSF ticket when accepting the job and the corresponding part number must be ordered.

Please note that the XSF tickets may need to be approved by the national organization, leading to longer processing times. It may take a few days for the entry to be visible in VeDoc. Please note that only a completed procedure, i.e. a parts order with the corresponding XSF ticket, can be processed. Incomplete procedures will be canceled.

Direct entry of the special equipment code in the Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc) through circumventing the ordering process and the fitting check is impermissible, and any such instance shall be invoiced retroactively to the respective operation.

The corresponding operation items should be used for retrofitting.
