Non-visible components are installed in vehicles and permanent magnetic fields emanate from them irrespective of vehicle's operating state.

Before starting any service and repair work, affected employees in the workshop area must check the planned scope of work on a vehicle-specific basis in order to determine to what extent contact with the following assemblies is likely:

• Live vehicle components
• Multimedia and sound systems (e.g. central display, speaker)
• Transmission antennas (e.g. KEYLESS-GO)

The notes and warnings from the manufacturer of the medical, electronic device must be observed and, in case of doubt, contact the manufacturer and/or a physician.

In the event of uncertainty concerning possible disruptions of the medical, electronic device, employees in the workshop area should ensure sufficient distance from such components.
