	Remove
1	Fold down head restraint (1) at driver seat towards front
		For removal of head restraint (1) at front passenger seat, see operator's manual. Fold down head restraint (1) as follows: Connect XENTRY → Select control unit "ESE 'Driver' - electrical seat adjustment for 'driver' with memory function (N32/1)" → Select "Adaptations" tab → Select "Teach-in processes" menu → Select "Remove/install head restraint" menu and follow further instructions	AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2	Fold up panels (3) 90° backwards
3	Unclip cover (2) and lift until the lock (4) is accessible
4	Push lock (4) forwards in direction of the arrows and remove head restraint guide (5)
5	Remove head restraint (1) with cover (2)
	Install
6	Install cover (2)
7	Fold up panels (3) 90° backwards
8	Insert head restraint guides (5) into the supports at the backrest frame	The locking pawls (6) must engage in the head restraint guides (5).
9	Fold back panels (3) forwards
10	Reset head restraint (1) at driver seat to starting position
		For installation of head restraint (1) at front passenger seat, see operator's manual. Fold back head restraint (1) as follows: Connect XENTRY → Select control unit "ESE 'Driver' - electrical seat adjustment for 'driver' with memory function (N32/1)" → Select "Adaptations" tab → Select "Teach-in processes" menu → Select "Remove/install head restraint" menu and follow further instructions	AD00.00-P-2000-04B
11	Carry out seat normalization at the front passenger seat or at the driver seat
