In the event of a defect in an active seat belt buckle or in the active seat belt buckle control unit, adaptations must always be made with the diagnostic system.

Active belt buckle defective 

The defective active seat belt buckle must be replaced and the cycle number in the active seat belt buckle control unit must be reset to a value of 0.

Active seat belt buckle control unit defective, but can be read out with diagnostic system 

Read out cycle number of old active belt buckle control unit and copy into new active belt buckle control unit.

Active seat belt buckle control unit defective and can no longer be read out with diagnostic system 

The left and right active belt buckle, as well as the active belt buckle control unit must be replaced as a complete set, and then the initial startup performed.
