	Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove covers (1).
3	Release and disconnect electrical connector (2) or electrical connector (3).
4	Disconnect hose coupling (4) or hose coupling (5).
5	Remove covers (6) or cover (7) and unscrew nuts located underneath.	Nut, wiper arm to windshield wiper system	*BA82.30-P-1002-01P
6	Remove driver-side wiper arm (9) or passenger-side wiper arm (8).	: Align driver-side wiper arm (9) to the marking (12) or passenger-side wiper arm (8) to the marking (11).

7	Unclip wiring harness of the driver-side wiper arm (9) or passenger-side wiper arm (8) from the respective mounting clamps and route through opening in the air/water duct (10).	Dismantling tool	Fig 1
8	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
9	Perform function check on windshield wiper system.
