Prepare vehicle for headlamp adjustment
Static LED headlamp, shown on Model 222
- Before checking/correcting the headlamp adjustment, bring vehicle into ready-to-drive condition.
Vehicle in ready-to-drive condition means:
Correct tire pressure,
Correctly calibrated vehicle level including zero position adjustment,
Steering is in straight-ahead position.

The vehicle must be unladen.
Identify chassis variants
Check if steel springs are installed at front and rear axle or using the data card.
Preparatory activity
- Close doors.
- Activate "Comfort" mode.

Vehicle level button (N72s14) set to "Normal level", LED does not light up.

Press and hold down vehicle level button (N72s14) 5 s and move to calibrated vehicle level, LED lights up.
Release vehicle level button (N72s14) immediately after 5 s.
Otherwise the vehicle runs completely to the raised level.
The calibrated vehicle level is automatically reset after a change in ignition status or vehicle speed ≥ 2 km/h.
Once the vehicle has moved all the way to the raised level,

drive the vehicle at a vehicle speed of ≥ 2 km/h.
