	Remove/install
1	Remove seat backrest	Model 222.0/1/9 with code 223 (Electric backrest adjustment and head restraints) Model 222.0/1/9 with code 224 (Individual rear seats)	AR91.12-P-1620LFA
2	Remove head restraint (2)		AR91.16-P-1770LFA
3	Disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4 and 5)	If installed.
4	Unhook cover (1) at backrest frame (arrows A)
5	Unhook elastic band (6) at opening (arrow B) at backrest frame
6	Release violet compressed air line (7) at Y-fitting (8) and remove	Fl. blade4.8_/6.3	Fig 1
7	Remove head restraint guides (10)	Using a suitable screwdriver, press back the catch hooks (arrows D) of the head restraint guides (10) through the openings (arrows C) of the brackets (9) and then pull out the head restraint guides (10) upwards. : The head restraint guides (10) are to be replaced. The catch hooks (arrows D) of the head restraint guides (10) must audibly engage in the brackets (9).
8	Slip cover (1) over padding (11)
9	Unhook staple wires of cover (1) from retaining clips (12) using a suitable screwdriver
10	Remove cover (1) from padding (11)
11	Pull staple wires out of cover (1)	When replacing cover (1). : Insert staple wires in new cover (1). Ensure that staple wires are seated correctly in fabric pockets (13).
12	Install in the reverse order
