Insert clamping plate (06) and
clamping plate (07) into rear axle spring (1).
Insert the clamping plates (06, 07) in such a way that as many spring coils as possible can be pre-compressed.
Insert tensioning device (08) from below through spring control arm (4) into
clamping plates (06, 07) and lock in
clamping plate (06).
Make sure that the
tensioning device (08) is seated correctly in the clamping plate (06) (arrows). It could otherwise slip off.
- Tension rear axle spring (1).
Do not use an impact wrench.
- Unclamp in the reverse order
When inserting the rear axle spring (1) ensure that the metal plate (3) and spring seat (2) are correctly seated.
