DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
WARNING Risk of injury.  Moving parts can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area of mechanical components when moving components. AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
  Preparatory activity     
1 Lift vehicle with lifting platform.    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR00.60-P-1006A
INSPECT Check     
2 Check front shock absorbers (14) for leaks.   AP32.00-P-3255-01A 
    IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools. 
Swiveling inspection mirror with lighting, comparable to inspection mirror Hazet 1977-1 If problems occur,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
3 Check that front boots (13) are correctly seated and are not damaged. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
4 Check front elastomer bearings (15) for cracks, deformation and wear; also check for play by firmly pulling and pushing on front shock absorbers (14).   AP32.00-P-3255-01A 
    IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools. 
Swiveling inspection mirror with lighting, comparable to inspection mirror Hazet 1977-1
IMPORTANT The front elastomer bearings (15) must be seated with zero clearance in the housing eye and they may not be cracked or damaged. If problems occur,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
5 Check front hydraulic lines (11) for damage, correct routing, leaks, correct mounting and corrosion. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
6 Check front electric lines (12) for damage, routing and mounting. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
7 Check rear shock absorbers (19) for leaks.   AP32.00-P-3255-01A 
    IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
8 Check that rear boots (16) are correctly seated and are not damaged. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools. 
Swiveling inspection mirror with lighting, comparable to inspection mirror Hazet 1977-1 If problems occur,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
9 Check rear elastomer bearings (17) for cracks deformation and wear; also check for play by firmly pulling and pushing on rear shock absorbers (19).   AP32.00-P-3255-01A 
    IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

IMPORTANT The rear elastomer bearings (17) must be seated with zero clearance in the housing eye and they may not be cracked or damaged. If problems occur,

11 Lower vehicle with vehicle lift.
