Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS20.00-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Remove upper engine cover	: Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.
2	Remove cap from upper coolant expansion reservoir for low-temperature circuit (2)	: Only attach cap to upper coolant expansion reservoir for low-temperature circuit (2) after leak test.
3	Suction off coolant from upper coolant expansion reservoir for low-temperature circuit (2)	Hand pump	Fig 1
4	Actuate connector coupling, remove bleed line (1) from upper coolant expansion reservoir for low-temperature circuit (2) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs	Record plug	Fig 2
5	Actuate connector coupling, remove feed line (3) from upper coolant expansion reservoir for low-temperature circuit (2) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs	Record plug	Fig 2
6	Remove screw/bolt (4)
		Bolt, low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir at top to low-pressure line	*BA09.41-P-1011-01X
7	Remove vacuum line (5) at upper coolant expansion reservoir for low-temperature circuit (2)
8	Remove upper coolant expansion reservoir for low-temperature circuit (2) in upward direction	: Wet elastomer bearing with antiseize paste.
		Antifriction paste, rubber parts 2.5 kg, DBL 6867.00	*BR00.45-Z-1002-06A
9	Check elastomer bearing of upper coolant expansion reservoir for low-temperature circuit (2) for damage	If a problem arises ↓ Replace elastomer bearing.
10	Install in the reverse order

11	Check coolant level in upper coolant expansion reservoir for low-temperature circuit (2) and correct if necessary	Cooling system	*BF20.00-P-1001-06A
12	Check low-temperature circuit cooling system for leaktightness		AR09.41-P-1011MNL
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
13	Perform an engine test run and in doing so check low-temperature circuit for proper function
