Remove Mounting Brackets On Suspension Strut Tower - Ar62.20-P-1232-05LFS

with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) 

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Expose weld seams on front mounting console (8.1) and cut (area S).
2. Remove mounting console (8.1).

3. Expose weld seams on front mounting console (8.2) and cut (areas T).
4. Remove mounting console (8.2).

5. Expose self-piercing rivet on mounting console (5) and drill with Ø 6.5 mm bit (areas Q, R).

6. Heat mounting console in crosshatched area.

   Cross-hatched area is bonded.

7. Remove mounting console.

8. Expose self-piercing riveting on mounting console (7) and drill with Ø 6.5 mm bit (areas L, M and N).

9. Heat mounting console (7) in crosshatched area.
10. Remove mounting console (7).

    Cross-hatched area is bonded.

11. Expose self-piercing rivet on mounting console and drill with Ø 6.5 mm bit (areas O, P).
12. Heat mounting console over full surface.

    Mounting console is glued over full surface.

13. Remove mounting console.

14. Expose self-piercing rivet on mounting console (1) and drill with Ø 6.5 mm bit (areas I, J and H).

15. Heat mounting console (1) in crosshatched area.

    Cross-hatched area is bonded.

16. Remove mounting console (1).

17. Expose self-piercing rivet on mounting console and drill with Ø 6.5 mm bit (areas E, F and G).

21. Heat mounting console (4) in crosshatched area.
