| 4 | Remove seal (2) between rear cover (1) and rear panoramic roof (3). | ||
| 5 | Determine gap dimension (A) between rear cover (1) and rear window (4) and note. | ||
| 6 | Cover left and right paint surfaces next to rear cover (1) with shields. | Fig 2 | |
| Risk of injury caused by slipping when clamping blade in the multicutter and by splinters when cutting out bonded components | Wear cut-proof gloves and safety glasses. Always interrupt air or current supply when changing the cutting blade. | AS58.00-Z-0001-01A | |
| 7 | Saw off an approx. 1 cm wide strip at the rear edge of the rear cover (1). | Saw carefully. Otherwise, the top seal on the rear window (4) may be damaged. |

Observe cutting depth when sawing. Otherwise the paneling on the rear roof frame can be damaged. |

| 8 | Cut out rear cover (1) with cutting wire and remove from panorama roof frame. | ||

| 11 | Apply adhesive material to the rear cover (1). | AR77.21-P-0751-03LF | |
