	Preparatory activity
1	Park the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface	Make sure that there is sufficient clearance in the door opening area. Otherwise the body can be damaged.
2	Open left front door, right front door and rear doors
	Clean
3	Clean all bearings for door holders (1) using a suitable cleaner
	Remove
4	Pry off all ball sockets (2p) of door holders from ball studs (2b)	When doing so, a second person must hold the doors in place. Otherwise damage can be caused by the doors opening too wide.
	Retightening
5	Righten all ball studs (2b)	Model 221 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) except code Z19 (S600 Pullman Guard state sedan) Model 221 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) with code Z19 (S600 Pullman Guard state sedan) Ball stud of door holder to A-pillar	*BA72.10-P-1021-01R

	Install
6	Press all ball sockets (2p) of door holders onto ball studs (2b)
	Risk of explosion  and poisoning caused by solvent vapors and gasses. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes when working with anticorrosior agents	Never spray corrosion protection on flames or hot, glowing objects and keep them well away from all potential sources of ignition. Use them only in well-ventilated rooms; wear respiratory protection.	AS97.00-Z-0001-01A
7	Spray on wax at all bearings for door holders (1)	Wax should only be sprayed on in the marked area around the hexagon of the ball studs (2b) and in a thin layer. The surrounding area must be masked against wax spatter; any wax spatter must be removed using a suitable cleaner.
