Remove Cross Member Below Front Seat - Ar63.40-P-1190-01GZ

Model 164, 166, 292 

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle on MODEL 164.8 and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Scribe separating point on crossmember below left front seat and cut (area A).
2. Expose spot welds on crossmember below left front seat and cut out (area B).
3. Remove inner section (2) from crossmember below left front seat.
4. Expose spot welds and cut out (areas C, D, E and F).
5. Remove outer section (3) from crossmember below left front seat.
