Processing Zinc Dust Paint Before Painting - Ar97.20-P-0500-01GZ

When replacing body parts welded in, carefully treat all bare sheet metal parts with zinc dust paint. Zinc dust paint serves for preventing corrosion on welding seams, sheet metal contact points and surfaces, which cannot be painted or are difficult to paint following assembly. All bare sheet metal parts must be completely clean and free of rust, oil and wax. Treat weld seams and riveted joints on both sides. Observe following procedure.

1. Carefully clean affected body parts.
2. Uniformly apply zinc dust paint.

   Do not use for painting outer surface.

3. Maintain drying time (overpaintable).
