REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove front bumper Model 292 with code U60 (Pedestrian protection - Active hood) AR88.20-P-2000GQC
    Model 166 as of model year 2016 with code U60 (Pedestrian protection - Active hood) AR88.20-P-2000GQ
2 Place down front bumper on appropriate base    
3 Remove hose (2) from groove in impact absorber (1) INSTALLATION NOTESInstallation:  Ensure that hose (2) is seated correctly in impact absorber (1). The hose (2) must be routed without any tension or kinks. Malfunctions can occur otherwise.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANTInstallation:  The hose (2) must be seated as deeply as possible within the groove of the impact absorber (1) and have the same protrusion length at left and right.
 
4 Disconnect electrical connectors from pedestrian protection sensors (3)    
5 Remove pedestrian protection sensors (3) together with hose (2) from bumper NOTES
The pedestrian protection sensors (3) may not be separated from the hose (2).
Malfunctions can occur otherwise.
 
6 Install in the reverse order
