IMPORTANT Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Move front seat all the way forward and up    
2 Unclip outer paneling of belt end fitting (1) at catch hooks in sequence (arrows A to C) NOTES Carefully unclip. Danger of breakage.  
    SPECIAL TOOL Mounting wedge Fig 2
3 Move belt end fitting outer paneling (1) out of guides (1a) in direction of travel and remove INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that the belt end fitting outer paneling (1) is seated correctly.  
4 Remove belt end fitting outer paneling (1)    
5 Unclip outer paneling at front (2) at catch hook (2a) NOTES Carefully unclip. Danger of breakage.  
6 Remove outer front trim (2) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that front outer paneling (2) is seated correctly.  
7 Disconnect electrical connector from driver seat lumbar support adjustment switch (11) or front passenger seat lumbar support adjustment switch (12)    
8 Remove screw/bolt (3c) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, belt end fitting/tensioner on front seat *BA91.40-P-1001-01R 
9 Remove screws/bolts (3a)    
10 Unhook outer bracket (3) from guides (3b) and remove NOTES Unhook carefully. Danger of breakage.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that outer bracket (3) is seated correctly.
 
11 Remove driver seat lumbar support adjustment switch (11) or front passenger seat lumbar support adjustment switch (12) When replacing outer bracket (3).  
12 Remove screws/bolts (4a)    
13 Press padding towards inside and unclip and remove outer paneling at rear (4) from catch hooks (4b) NOTES Carefully unclip.
Danger of breakage.
IMPORTANT Helper required.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that rear outer paneling (4) is seated correctly.
 
14 Move the front seat into the rearmost position    
15 Remove screw/bolt (5a)    
16 Loosen nut from belt buckle TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt/nut, seat belt buckle to front seat *BA91.40-P-1003-01R 
17 Unclip and remove inner belt buckle paneling (5) at catch hooks in sequence (arrows D to F) NOTES Carefully unclip.
Danger of breakage.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that belt buckle inner paneling (5) is seated correctly.
 
    SPECIAL TOOL Mounting wedge Fig 2
18 Remove screw/bolt (6a)    
19 Unclip and remove inner paneling at rear (6) NOTES Carefully unclip.
Danger of breakage.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that rear inner paneling (6) is seated correctly.
 
    SPECIAL TOOL Mounting wedge Fig 2
20 Remove front and rear screws/bolts from seat console/guide rail at vehicle floor TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, seating mounting bracket to vehicle floor *BA91.10-P-1001-01L 
21 Tilt front seat far enough forward or backward until the corresponding cover (7, 8, 9) of the seat console/guide rail can be removed. IMPORTANT Front seat remains in vehicle.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that corresponding cover (7, 8, 9) is seated correctly.
 
22 Remove corresponding cover (7, 8, 9)    
23 Unclip cover (10) and pull off from seat console/guide rail INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that cover (10) is seated correctly.  
24 Install in the reverse order
