Remove/Install Front SAM Control Unit - AR54.21-P-1254GQ

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Connect diagnostic system and store basic data of SAM control unit (N10) When installing new SAM control unit (N10).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2 Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key at a location beyond transmitter range (at least 2 m)    
3 Remove right panel below instrument panel   AR68.10-P-1520GQ
4 Remove right front door sill molding.   AR68.30-P-4100GQ
5 Remove bracket (1) SPECIAL TOOL Mounting wedge Fig 1
6 Disconnect electrical connector (2)    
7 Unscrew bolt (3)    
8 Fold back floor covering Model 166  
9 Pull SAM control unit (N10) out of bracket vertically in a downward direction    
10 Disengage locks (4a) and fold up cover (4) approx. 45°    
11 Pull cover (4) out of upper guides on SAM control unit (N10)    
12 Unclip line bracket (5) of SAM control unit (N10) SPECIAL TOOL Mounting wedge Fig 1
13 Disconnect all electrical connectors from SAM control unit (N10)    
14 Remove SAM control unit (N10)    
15 Install in the reverse order    
  Initial startup     
16 Perform SCN coding of SAM control unit (N10 using diagnostic system When installing new SAM control unit (N10). AR54.21-P-0015X 
17 Transfer previously stored basic data to SAM control unit (N10) When installing new SAM control unit (N10).
