| 1 | Connect diagnostic system and store basic data of SAM control unit (N10) | When installing new SAM control unit (N10). | |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key at a location beyond transmitter range (at least 2 m) | ||
| 3 | Remove right panel below instrument panel | AR68.10-P-1520GQ | |

| 5 | Remove bracket (1) | Fig 1 | |
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) | ||
| 7 | Unscrew bolt (3) | ||
| 8 | Fold back floor covering | Model 166 | |
| 9 | Pull SAM control unit (N10) out of bracket vertically in a downward direction | ||
| 10 | Disengage locks (4a) and fold up cover (4) approx. 45° | ||
| 11 | Pull cover (4) out of upper guides on SAM control unit (N10) | ||
| 12 | Unclip line bracket (5) of SAM control unit (N10) | Fig 1 | |
| 13 | Disconnect all electrical connectors from SAM control unit (N10) | ||
| 14 | Remove SAM control unit (N10) | ||
| 15 | Install in the reverse order | ||
