Remove/Install Auxiliary Oil Pump For Automatic Transmission - AR27.30-P-0651GQ

	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Remove/install
1	Remove underfloor paneling		AR61.30-P-1001GQ
2	Remove drain screw from oil pan	Collect escaping ATF with drain pan. Note automatic transmission oil quantity. It is not  necessary to press the overflow pipe off the base of the oil pan.
3	Unscrew nuts (7) on engine cross member (8)	Bolt/nut, rear engine mount to rear engine crossmember	*BA22.10-P-1004-03G
4	Lift the transmission (3) at transfer case (6)

5	Disconnect electrical connector (1) at electric auxiliary oil pump (M42)
6	Detach wiring harness (2) from transmission (3) and place to one side
7	Unscrew bolts (4a, 4b) from electric auxiliary oil pump (M42) and remove electric auxiliary oil pump (M42)	The bolt (4b) must be removed with the electric auxiliary oil pump (M42). The bolt (4b) remains in the housing. Insert the bolt (4b) into the housing before installing the electric auxiliary oil pump (M42). Bolt, transmission auxiliary oil pump to transmission housing	*BA27.55-P-1009-01D
8	Lever out connectors (5) using a suitable tool	Check connectors (5) with sealing ring for intake and thrust side for signs of damage and replace, if necessary. Fit connectors (5) into electric auxiliary oil pump (M42) only.
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Fill transmission (3) with oil		AR27.00-P-0270W
	Check
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11	Perform engine test run and check transmission (3) for function and leaks
